Biostatistics II

Jonas Schöley. University of Southern Denmark, , 1 semester seminar.

Regression models for biostatistics.

The students are introduced to a number of statistical techniques applied to medical and health related examples. Topics covered are especially analysis of count, binary, and continuous outcome data, analysis of longitudinal data and survival analysis. Optional topics can be e.g. causal inference, Bayesian analysis, missing data. This course is a follow-up to Biostatistics I, the latter covering fundamental basic statistics. Biostatistics II seeks to cover modelling and interpretation providing methods for analysing exposure-outcome relationship in a modern health science setting. It is further an aim to enable students to carry out the appropriate statistical analysis.
